Today's quote

There is space on everyone's
 bookshelves for books you
have outgrown
but can't give away.

They hold your youth
 between their pages,
 like flowers pressed
on a half-forgotten
Summer's day.

  1. Cute Poem! :) And I kinda relate. I have kept just the educational books from my childhood on the shelf for the girls. The fantasy stuff I don't like so much since it exalts paganism, so it's in a box in the shed.

    Have a great weekend! :)

    1. I thought it was lovely.

What sort of books do you like to read?

My colleague and I at work are currently working our way through the top 50 Australian book list from the 2012 ABC Tuesday Book Club. I have never been much of a reader of Australian books but discovering there are some great ones to read. I have just finished "The Book Thief" and loved it and now reading "The secret river" and also really enjoying it. Two books I wouldn't have usually picked up and read. However I didn't enjoy "Cloudstreet" at all and that was listed as No. 1.
