Art friday: S is for strawberries

One of my readers (Mary) loves strawberries so I am going to dedicate todays art friday to the humble but very delicious strawberry (best eaten with a dollop of thickened fresh cream).

Just for you Mary.

Art Friday: Strawberries

You might feel rather hungry by the end of this delectable collection of strawberries.

Poetry and music are very good friends.
Like mummies and daddies and
strawberries and cream - they go together.

  3. Jo, I think the one with the cream is raspberries. ☺ I prefer raspberries to strawberries so my eyes lit up! Or maybe I need new glasses. Either way I am now drooling!

    1. Yes, they are raspberries, I think I was a bit carried away by a bowl of berries and cream. When I went to the markets on Friday evening I bought a punnet of raspberries to make into a crumble this evening - this must have got my brain going!!

    1. There is something very joyful about strawberries, not sure if its the happy redness of them or their cute shape. I also think cherries look lovely (not that I like to eat them)
