Thoughtful Thursday

Lets recapture joy.

Rejoice always,
pray without ceasing,
in everything give thanks;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

  1. Flowers from my garden, sadly they are finished but when in flower brightened up the garden no end.

  2. Those are sometimes difficult Words to put into practice. But, I've been learning that rejoicing and giving thanks even when things don't look so bright really does change one's outlook.
    Beautiful flowers! :)

    1. They certainly are and you are right - putting it into practices really does show the benefits :))

      Flowers from my garden - all finished now which is a bit sad as I loved the yellow.

  3. Love the flowering Broom ...called by that name in Adelaide anyway. A glorious bright and cheerful splash whilst they last although I never had luck with them ...the snails always stripped my bush as the growth is so tender and delightful to their taste buds no doubt :)
    Lovely quote to remind ourselves too. Thank you

    1. I call it Broom as I am an Adelaide girl (once-a-upon-a-time). When I was growing up we had these growing wild near our primary school and we would cut (tear) off pieces to make cubby houses with them!!
