What a busy morning - I have done 3 loads of washing (no, not all mine - but now I am a bit worried it won't dry as it is very overcast and cold outside), cleaned out the fridge (I found some strange things!), did a quick dust (probably just moved the dust about), chatted to my kitty cats (who are feeling very content now that I have returned), unpacked my suitcase (and removed all the cashew nuts that escaped their bag and ran about in my bag which was very annoying!!), wrote my shopping list (glad I came back when I did as my family had run out of bread, eggs, baked beans and toilet paper - all staples in my house!!). Now I am going through the 350 photos I took while away. Over the coming weeks I will share with you some of what I took - but here are a couple.
Don't laugh - for those who remembered reading the blog about packing too much - LOOK WHAT QANTAS PUT ON MY BAG. How embarrassing. I didn't take THAT MUCH did I?
This is my mum and dad and me - it was so good to see them again (my last visit was October 2009).
This is me (taken by my brother) standing on a country road taking photos!! I was in no danger of being run over.
My brother (visiting from the USA) on our trip to see the sea and eat fish and chips! It was a beautiful day with really nice weather (considering it is winter).

And a very special THANK YOU to my dear brother Stephen and his lovely wife Lorraine for providing the best "B&B" service in the country (perhaps the world!!). He made us amazing meals including homemade wood-fire pizza's (photo below is the lighting of the pizza oven), delicious homemade lamb yuros, pea and ham soup (very thick), lamb racks and roasted veggies + homemade bread for breakfast one morning. He also drove us about each day without anyone getting car sick.
