My garden in spring

His love has no limits,
His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary
known unto me:
For out of His infinite riches
in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth,
and giveth again.

~Annie Johnson Flint~

Enjoy these photos from my garden
A field of purple daisies (in many different shades) and yellow

Broom (a native every-green covered in a mass of yellow flowers)
Gazania - great for hot dry spots - these run along the drive way
Clivia - don't usually like our frosty climate but doing well in this sheltered spot
My little hid-away in the garden.  I love to sit here and read or contemplate
 A spring bulb.

Never lose an opportunity
of seeing anything that is
beautiful; for beauty is God's
handwriting - a wayside
sacrament.  Welcome it in every
fair face, in every fair sky, in every
fair flower, and thank God for it as
a cup of blessing.

  2. Jo, you are doing a fantastic job in your garden! Those purple flowers are so beautiful... they all are, but I love the purple colour.

That little 'secret' spot would be just the place I would love to sit and read too.

Have a lovely Sunday. We have sunshine at the moment. Nearly forgot what it looked like haha!

ps. my sister who lost her friend to breast cancer yesterday, has never encountered the Lord, so as yet, she is not saved. Thanks for your very kind comment regards to that post. Bless you so much Jo!

  3. Amanda - it is grey here, but the rain has gone away (after drizzling all night) - so no sitting in the garden today. It seems to rain here every weekend whilst the week days are glorious!

  9. Ms. Jo,

Your pictures are absolutely beautiful! How wonderful God is - that as we are entering our time of dormancy, with leaves various shades of red, gold and orange - that your garden is just coming back to life. Blessings to you from Alabama in the United States!

  10. Beautiful! We're in the midst of falling leaves right now, which will probably all be down in the next couple of days, if the weather forecast for high winds is indeed true. I'm just anxious for snow, but that's just me....

  11. Jo, this is just lovely! I might not get much housework done if I had a little retreat spot like that in my yard :-) I love daisies - such simple and generous plants. The colour is fantastic! I love the yellow Broom too. blessings..Trish
