Take therefore no thought for the morrow:
for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:34

There is no need to feel overwhelmed about life, trust it to the Lord.

We must take things one day at a time.

  4. What a wonderful reminder of an important precept, dear Jo. God knew just how destructive fretting and worry can be and He wanted to assure us that all would be well. I regret to say that I do tend to be a bit of a "fretter", and have to constantly remind myself that God is in control of all, and therefore I must (as you said) take things one day at a time and trust it to the Lord.

    Have a joyful week! :)

  7. I love this verse and needs to be reminded of it often! Sometimes when I wake in the morning I am not sure what the day may bring - it really is completely up to the Lord to guide the day as well as the next.

  11. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed- the only way that I can cope is to just leave it with the Lord. One day at a time is how I try to live my life. I love this photo Jo-- is it your photo? May I borrow it for future use?
