Art Wednesday: Guido Daniele
Artist: Guido Daniele
Birthplace: Italy in 1950.
Hand and body painter (no examples of body painting have been included)
I have seen these hand painting beforebut never knew who painted them or why. Guido Daniele attended Brera Artistic High School in Italy and graduated in 1972. In 1990, he developed a body painting technique, and his work has been used in advertising images and commercials, as well as fashion events and exhibitions. His art only last as long as the photo is taken then the painting is washed off and gone forever.
Here is another thing you can do in art class?
These were done as part of a series of work was commissioned by AT&T.
I think these are pretty impressive.

Imagine the cramps you could get in your hands while he paints! Or how tiring it would be!
ReplyDeleteStill it is amazing work!

Clever. What a novel take on shadow puppetry ~ which is what it reminds me of! I love these. Thanks, Jo.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought of that Ganeida - but you are quite about the puppetry.
ReplyDeleteThese show such talent! Although, like the pavement chalk art, the temporary nature of it would be somewhat disappointing, IMO!!
ReplyDeleteYes, me too, Ganeida. Immediately thought of shadow puppets. Again, Jo, you inspire! This was such a fun post to visit. There really is no end to the creative arts, thanks to a creative God who made us in his image.
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you.
This is intriguing art!
ReplyDeleteVery clever indeed.
blessings..Trish
