Art Friday: Luka and Matej

This is an inspiring story which I read in a newspaper a few weeks ago(and subsequently in Colossal.com). Luka is 12 years old boy and suffers from Muscular Dystrophy and due to physical limitations of the disease (now unable to do basic activities such as feeding, dressing or washing himself) he is very limited in the activities he can participate in.

Photographer Matej Peljham (Slavonic) undertook a series of photos to turn Luka's creative drawings (or escape and excitement) into "reality" and I have included some of these of these photos (see article for others). Photoshop editing was not use in any of the photos.

Do check out the remaining photos - they are worthing having a look at.

  2. That is a very creative idea for someone who struggles with physical limitations - and it looks like he had a lot of fun participating! :)
