Its spring

Its spring today!!

And right on cue, the weather improved and today we have gorgeous sunshine, the sky is blue, its warmer than usual and blossom is everywhere.

I think its a perfect day for sitting outside and relaxing with a book. Its the Lords Day, one of rest and what better way to enjoy this day.

And in Australia it is Father's Day

To my very special dad - Happy Fathers Day.

And an update on my cousin - two of the three tumours have been removed but sadly the doctors were not able to remove the third tumour. However they have decided to do another operation in a week or so and attempt to remove the third tumour which will be another complicated operation. My cousin has been surrounded by her family and I am sure that has given her much strength and joy.

Once again we all need to trust in the Lord for his guidances and strength.

Lord, I would place my hand in Thine,

Nor ever murmur nor repine;

Content, whatever lot I see,

Since ’tis my God that leadeth me.

  1. The weather is spectacular here too. Those flowers are so vivid. Not noticing a lot of Spring flowers here yet.
    Operations are always scary. Pray that the Lord brings her through and for wisdom and skill to those doctors and nurses caring for her.
    I haven't been over for a while or perhaps I am just not observant enough, but I love your layout and headerQ

    1. Thankyou for dropping by - you are a busy lady so not surprising you missed my header!! I think i did it few months ago, I can't even remember myself!!

      My cousin is coming along well and now waits to hear about the next operation. With the Lord with her, all things are possible.

    1. Everything is in bloom here and you can't turn your head without seeing something flowering. I noticed today that my neighbours tree is "raining" white blossom (its quite windy today) and it looks so pretty.
