The chocolate brownies are cooling.

The muffins are waiting to be eaten (banana, honey and cinnamon)

The kettle has boiled.

The best china is ready.

The tablecloth is ironed.

Its time for afternoon tea with all my new friends
that I have made through GROW YOUR BLOG
and to all my old dear friends that I have known for ages.

You are all welcome.

I can't wait to meet you all and have a chat.

It is raining at the moment so sadly afternoon tea will need to be indoors, but thats ok, it will be lovely and cosy.

Many thanks for all those who have dropped by my blog and said hi.  It was so nice to meet you and I do hope we get to know each other better over time.

As a special thankyou I have two tissue holders to give away, so over the next few days I will pick two (however I would love to give you all a welcome gift if I could) and let you know.

Once again, thankyou.

PS I have just tasted the brownies to make sure they are ok for the guests - you better come quick as they are so delicious and fudgy.  Just discovered that my husband has also tasted the brownies - run ladies run, as I am afraid there won't be any left if you linger too long

  2. Yum! My hubby has lost 4 kgs! So he keeps well away from the kitchen. And with two keen little taste testers, I don't have to do it all myself =)
    love,

    1. I cut the brownies into very small pieces and frozen them - every once in a while when I want something sweet I have a tiny cube with my tea. These will last quite some time!! Hubby liked they weren't very sweet, probably due to the dark chocolate I used.

  3. Hehe what a sweet little post! Thank you for the reminder of how lovely it is to share a cuppa and a chat with friends.
I did that on the weekend and pulled out my good tea set from the cupboard :-) So nice to get it out!
