Random Tuesday #8

~ Wheel Barrow ~

You may think this is an odd one to include in my random list (random lists are meant to be odd!!) - but I have always wanted an old wheelbarrow in my garden so I can grow flowers in it.  I don't own one and I have never found a lovely looking old wheelbarrow.  Aren't these all great examples. One day perhaps!! I could make one!! What do you think??

  1. Hi Jo, I do have an old wheel barrow in my front yard, it was one my brother found in an old gold mine years ago! It is very old, made of all steel, it is pure rustic looking! I do not want to plant flowers in it as it fills with water and the birds use it as a bird bath...
    Have a lovely week!
    Yours, Roxy

    1. I love the idea of a wheelbarrow bird bath!! Sounds lovely to me :)))

Thankyou for dropping by:) Hope your week has been lovely.

  2. I think a wheelbarrow is very cute filled with flowers. I like the wooden one best. I would LOVE to have one of those!! :)

    1. My dad made his own wooden one, he might have made two - I'm not skilled enough to do that!! Perhaps one day I will find one hanging about!!

  3. I really enjoyed the pictures of the pretty wheelbarrows. I am still aggravated at myself for passing by a $15 used wheelbarrow at a thrift shop a couple of years ago. I don't know if I would have actually used it as a wheelbarrow, or if I would have planted some pretty flowers in it. I still wonder what in the world was I thinking that day when I passed that wheelbarrow by.

    1. I have never seen one in the thrift shop and $15 is a bargain!!! You won't pass it by the next time :)))
