Art Friday: Paul de Longpre

Art Friday: Paul de Longpre

Today we are going old-fashion florals, the sort you might have seen on a birthday card once-upon-a-time. I do hope you enjoy looking at these relaxing scenes. They are rather pretty I think.

  1. Good morning Jo! These paintings are actually done by my favorite artist, Paul de Longpre. Raoul de Longpre was also a painter but his floral paintings are more brush-strokey (yes, made up word) whereas Paul's are more realistic. There are commonly mistaken one for another. Here is a link which discusses it ~

Have a lovely week and thank you for sharing these. I have 5 of his paintings in my home :)
