Hello February: my thoughts

It is February 2016 — yes, the first month of the year is now completed. If you had plans for January and you didn't get them done, too late — you will now need to schedule them for February!!!

But good news, February has 29 days this year as it is a leap year. One extra day to get things done!!

My thoughts for the coming month

When you meet someone in blogland don't judge too quickly. They may be doing something different to you, but instead of coming to your own conclusions as super speed, why not engage in a conversation and perhaps you will find out more.  A mother working doesn't mean she is chasing a career, a child in childcare doesn't mean a neglect child, one that is unloved.  These are our fellow sisters in Christ — lets behave like Christian sisters and not ones that think they always know best.

Lets support each other, build each other up, encourage, love and be kind. Don't jump to conclusions.

Have a  great month of February — I know for my family, we are bound to have some great days, some ordinary days and perhaps a few pretty bad days — but all days are perfect because they are given to us by God. Be thankful, no matter what sort of day you have.

Just keep smiling.

Quote of the month

"Every time you get upset at something, ask yourself it you were to died tomorrow, was it worth wasting your time being angry?

(Robert Tew)

Bible verse for the month

Whenever I am afraid,
I will trust in You.

(Psalm 56:3)

Hymn of the month

Precious Lord, take my hand,
Lead me on, let me stand,
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn;
Through the storm, through the night,
Lead me on to the light:

Refrain:
Take my hand, precious Lord,
Lead me home.
When my way grows drear,
Precious Lord, linger near,
When my life is almost gone,
Hear my cry, hear my call,
Hold my hand lest I fall:

Refrain

When the darkness appears
And the night draws near,
And the day is past and gone,
At the river I stand,
Guide my feet, hold my hand:

  4. Supporting one another, loving one another, being kind to one another, encouraging one another. What a great idea! If only more people would meditate on the Scriptures that give us that advice! And it would be nice if I would remember too - every minute of every day... it's too easy in the busyness of life to let our guard down and snap or criticise in the heat of the moment. :(
