Gone to heaven

My DH's mother passed away on Wednesday afternoon after a long illness

No longer in pain.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelations 21:4

  4. So much to look forward to when we all get to heaven, but how difficult and sad the parting can be here in this world. :( I hope and pray her death can somehow be used to bring more souls to Him in the family.

  7. Dear ladies - thankyou for your very kind words.

Clara - I very much pray that her death will bring other family members, including my husband, to learn to love the Lord as I and you do. This is something I must live in the Lord’s hands.

Vicki - I know she is no longer suffering or in pain as she has been all year. She also very much wanted to depart this earth and go to heaven - therefore she was welcoming her departure with no fear of dying. Sadly her husband is an unbeliever and is very fearful of death.

  10. May her passing from this temporary place to her permanent home in the presence of God be a comfort to you and yours.

I, too hope that this may bring those who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus to HIM.
