Be still, my soul
Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalm 46:10
Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord.
When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.

Below is the children's chore "Libera" singing "Be still", its very beautiful and very moving. This is the hymn requested by Eric Liddell whilst helded in a Japanese prison of war camp during World War II. It must have brought him much comfort.
Such a beautiful rendition of the song!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it:))) I love the music of Liberia.
