Art Friday: John Sloane

Artist: John Sloane

I really like the art of John Sloane and this is the right time of year to share his Christmas art.

Do enjoy these rather lovely scenes. I love the homely scenes in these paintings and feel that I would love to climb in a be part of the scene :))

  1. Oh these are all lovely, lovely. I was thinking about putting up a couple of his pieces too ... the pulling the tree home ones as it's the season now to be doing that for anyone going out. So we're thinking along the same lines, I see.

A most enjoyable visit ... thank you!

    1. So glad you enjoyed these Brenda - they are so lovely. I do like the one by the fireplace - after all that hard work outdoors - what better place to be, but inside near the fire. However, here in Australia it is HOT and we need cooling right now and not heat!!! No snow here to be seen.

  3. Love ❤ it, especially the gazebo and the ones with the cars. Or maybe the red chairs by the fire is my favorite.

  4. I totally agree. These Christmas pictures look like perfect Christmas mood, weather and atmosphere at all. I'd like to be a part of it, too.

  5. These are homely and whimsical. They are lovely and I would like to visit in them for awhile, although I don't think I could stay forever as I don't do very well with very cold weather!!
