Its Friday :)

I am feeling a little melancholy of late. Perhaps because it is the start of winter and it's turned cold  all of a sudden or just because of nothing much at all. The news of late has been so sad — in fact I have been reading the newspapers of late trying to find a good news story to share, to no avail. There just hasn't been any.  No wonder God asks us to only focus on what is good and pure to keep our hearts and minds from sinking into despair.

Anyway I really couldn't think of anything to write about today and with very few visitors these days, I am sure it will be ok to post a few pics of my darling cats who bring me much joy. Plus a photo of my shoes which I think are rather cute.

  1. Praying for you every day. I'm not surprised at your melancholy, by the way. Just keep trusting, He is able to carry you through. And He tells us to rejoice always πŸ˜˜πŸ€—❤😘

  2. Thanks for sharing your post. I really enjoyed this and love your theme of finding the joy in everyday life. I love your shoes. Seeing your cats watch the birds on the screen was super cute. Thank you again for sharing.

    1. After years of buying uncomfortable shoes I found a brand that isn't expensive that are super comfortable and I love them and I can wear them all day without getting sore toes and that is important!!!

    1. Ruby is a black ragdoll and she is adorable but can be quite the drama queen :) Thankyou so much, we have a long weekend which I will enjoy so much :)

  4. You have no idea how much I appreciate and look forward to your writing, the pictures and the art you share. Maybe I need to be a bit louder so you can hear me over there in Oz! ;-)

  5. Dear Jo, I'm sorry to hear that you've been a little low lately. As Andrea so aptly puts it above, you can't know how much your efforts mean to me and so many others too. You are one of the "good news" stories that I regularly seek to provide rest from this troubled world.

Your art, photos, and articles often inspire me and sometimes make me examine my own viewpoint regarding a particular subject or situation.

I am very grateful for your lovely and comforting presence on my desktop, and would miss you very much were you ever to "put down your pen".

Sending a very big, and much needed hug from Scotland...
P.S please tell me the brand of your cute shoes! I have such a problem finding comfortable, yet pretty shoes!

    1. Christine, you had me in tears :) :) Thankyou so much for your wonderful support and encouragement, it means the world to me.

The shoes I am wearing are from a company called Nodule shoes sadly they only deliver to Australia and New Zealand - they come in many different colours which I just love, but the best thing is the price, they are so cheap. https://www.thenoduleshoecompany.com.au
