Gone to heaven

My DH's mother passed away on Wednesday afternoon after a long illness

No longer in pain.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelations 21:4

    all understanding to guard your
hearts and minds. What comfort to
know she is in the arms of our

  3. Hugs and sympathy from ne tto you and your family, Jo.
Rejoicing that you have that comfort that your MIL is now safe in the presence of the Lord!

  4. So much to look forward to when we all get to heaven, but how difficult and sad the parting can be here in this world. :( I hope and pray her death can somehow be used to bring more souls to Him in the family.

  5. I know there are no words. Hugs & prayers for you. ♥

  6. Dearest Jo - I am so so very sorry for your loss - I know that you have worried about her health for some time now. Your faith assures you that she is in a better place -but I know you will miss her so. I will prayy for your broken hearts~~

  7. Dear ladies - thankyou for your very kind words.

Clara - I very much pray that her death will bring other family members, including my husband, to learn to love the Lord as I and you do. This is something I must live in the Lord’s hands.

Vicki - I know she is no longer suffering or in pain as she has been all year. She also very much wanted to depart this earth and go to heaven - therefore she was welcoming her departure with no fear of dying. Sadly her husband is an unbeliever and is very fearful of death.

  8. I'm *so very sorry* for your family's loss.

    Blessings and Hugs....

  9. Jo,
I'm so sorry for your loss, and I also rejoice with you that you have the hope of seeing her again. What a gift! May you and your family know much of God's comfort as you miss her.

  10. May her passing from this temporary place to her permanent home in the presence of God be a comfort to you and yours.

I, too hope that this may bring those who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus to HIM.

  11. My condolences to your family, and prayers for your family. And rejoicing for her, that she is now with her Saviour.

  12. She was a very beautiful woman. Praying for your husband.

  13. Jo, I am sorry to only be reading this now... please accept my heart-felt condolences to you and your family.

What a blessing to know that she knew the Lord. It always makes losing a loved one just the little bit easier..

    Many hugs to you Jo...
