Smile, it makes a differences

What kind of a face did you wake up
with this morning?

 Proverbs 17:22  says,
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”

What your face looks like is your choose!

Even if you feel miserable, put on a smile!

Your heart will change to cheerful and your family will start smiling too!

It is amazing how quickly you will start to feel better.

And, don't forget to smile when you walk past someone,
you might change their day beyond what you could imagine.
One happy, smiling face can make a difference in a crowd of grumpy faces.

Idea from Above Rubies (slightly modified)

Sending you all a smile - from me to you
May it brighten up your day

  1. It does brighten up my day...I was just thinking of that happy face that was such an icon in the 70's! I also wrote a post on laughing, not posted yet, and it just reminded me of how important it is.
    Thanks for the smile!
    Have a wonderfully smiley weekend!

  2. Thank you for this post this morning, I have had a miserable week so I needed a reminder.

Love the flowers, wish I could put them as my centrepiece...

    Have a lovely weekend,

  3. Love the picture. It certainly helped me to remember my priorities.

  4. I love the smile and the flowers! It is so true, a smile makes you feel so much better. I try to always leave a smile in my comments as well.

    Have a great weekend :)

  5. Ain't it the truth. A smile makes all the difference :-)

  6. This is so true! I know my attitude set the tone in the house and it took me years to realize this but I guess that comes with maturity for some of us. Of course some people are just always smiling.

  7. Jo,

Having a cheerful disposition can often times be a difficult thing to do, but it's surely much more pleasurable than looking gloomy all the time.

This is something that I need to work on - smiling, for I usually have a "serious face" most of the time.

  8. So true!! Smiles really do make a difference!! :) :)

  9. Hi Jo, This is my first of many visits to your very happy and heartwarming blogspot. The smile you have given my soul this morning is unmeasurable. Thank you! I'll be sure to pass it along. I love the Scripture you have quoted. I hope this day is a good one for you. Oh Happy Day! God bless. With love and care from Kerrie. xOx

  10. Dear Kerrie - your words are so kind and they, like my smiles, make such a differences. God Bless.

  11. Honestly - when I go to work - I try very hard to come in with a smile - it seems to set the tone for the whole day~~
