Starting your day right

I have always felt that the moment
when first you wake up in the morning
is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours.
No matter how weary or dreary you may feel,
your possess the certainty that. . .
absolutely anything may happen

Start your morning right,
and you'll have the best frame
for a beautiful day.

Which one are you in the morning
This?
Or this?
I'm the green guy in purple slippers!!

Yes, totally agree! I am a morning person, i wake up with a bounce in my step, it is just the way I am wired! Lovely quotes! xxx
ReplyDeleteLove these quotes!! :) I'm the little mouse - usually - I wake up feeling bright and cheery and wishing everyone would bounce around with enthusiasm too. It's tough being married to a green guy (not wearing purple slippers though, thankfully!)! ;)
ReplyDeleteClara - I'm the green guy too and I'm married to someone who is mouselike - who sometimes wants to chat. I don't chat at 6am in the morning!!!
ReplyDeleteIt all depends how many times you have been up! With bub on the way and one in the cot, there is never a night without some disturbance!
ReplyDeleteI think overall I am in between though....
love,
Bets
Jo,
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny! Thank yo for the reminder. I actually told my daughters to let me sleep in this morning so they did. They woke up and turned on Christian cartoons and got a bowl of dry cereal and milk for themselves. It was nice to wake up smiling.
Have a blessed day.

I think I'm worse than the green guy. So not a morning person who has had to be. No wonder I'm now a little odd. ☺
ReplyDeleteOpposites attract dont' they! I'm the green guy and my dh is the mouse, similar to you and your dh:)
ReplyDeleteWhen I wake in the morning I realize this is a new start to a new day.
ReplyDeleteI have the power to make it wonderful or a real drag.
Its at that moment I remember my Lord who died and rose again to give me a gift of Life.
I give him a hug by thanking him for this day, that I may put my feet on the floor and breath the air.
It gives me a courage and a positive attitude for the rest of the day and puts a smile on my face.
We all have the power to make things good IF WE WANT TO!
Get up, thank the Lord for what he's given you and do something good with it.
Put on that Armor: Truth, Righteousness, Readiness, Faith, Salvation and the Word of God.

Jo - that foggy image is breathtaking. Your faith is such an inspiration to me ~~
