To dream a new dream

"You are never too old
 to set another goal
or to dream a new dream..."

~C. S. Lewis

When we stop dreaming, we stop living.

Women tend to get so involved in the lives of others; their husband, their children, their ageing parents,  they forget to have own their dreams, things they want to do for pleasure. There is nothing wrong with wanting to do something for yourself, whether that be craft, sewing, photography, painting, growing vegetables, joining an art class, cooking class, learning how to sail a boat (not one I would do!!), renovate furniture  etc. . . .  we all need these activities to keep us sane and they bring pleasure and joy at the same time. And often these projects benefit other family members as well.

We can have big dreams or littles dreams, but one must never stop dreaming.

What are you dreaming about?

    1. I wonder what this meerkat is dreaming about - a quiet time i think!!

I would love to do a cooking class but I want to do one with someone (a friend) as it would be far more fun.

  2. I have many dreams... Some of them are impractical... Some of them are more do-able! :) One of my dreams was realised this year when I opened my store, however the funny thing about that is how busy the year turned out to be and how little time I've had for the store anyway!!!! I'm sure I'll get back to it at some point, but for now I've had to put that dream on hold (like most dreams!). :)

    1. Like you, some of my dreams are impractical and others are costly - but one day I might achieve some of them.
