Art Friday: Just me

I thought I would end the year with some of my favourite photos  that I have taken this year.

I do hope you have enjoyed ART FRIDAY for 2013.

Some weeks were a real struggle coming up with ideas and putting the page together, other weeks were so much easier and gave me much pleasure. Now I just need to dream up some ideas for 2014.

See you in 2014 with a new collection of art.

  2. My favourite is the fourth one - the red building, grasses and blue sky - great shot, my second is the picture or mirror on the wall with timber frame, so modern.

    1. The building was one of the those shots that surprised me once I got home when I discovered it had turned out so well. The picture on the wall just had the right lighting at the right moment (which only lasted no more than 5 minutes).

  3. Wow, you did these, Joluise? They are really beautiful! I enjoy photography too. Do you have a fancy camera or how did you do these neat effects?

    1. Thankyou so much, whilst some of these photos are done with a Canon DSLR, most however have been taken with the iPhone 4S such as the flower at the top, the bowl, still life pears and the picture on the wall. Surprisingly, the iPhone contains a very good camera. I use a variety of editing programs on all the shots.

  4. The pears in the bowl look like a painting! :-)
The lighting in the pears and the painting on the wall pictures is splendid! I love those light and shadow moments. Sometimes they are hard to catch just as you see them, though!

The red building is very striking. It's always a pleasant surprise to have some random picture turn out to be really great. :-)

    1. Those pears were sitting on the breadboard about to be put away and I suddenly saw the light on them and quickly took some photos - it didn't take long before the light had past and that was it. This is why one always needs to be ready to take a photo as light doesn't hang around waiting!!!
