Todays art is all about cute little mice and bunnies. I think they are adorable and I hope you do to. My favourite is the top one - I just wish I could join them for a cup of tea and scones!

  2. I don't usually go in for cute-sy stuff, but these are adorable! Love them; so heartwarming and sweet. I like the one with the bunny with the tea and book under a blanket. Reminds me of my favorite thing to do!

  6. I love her book 'Tea with Victoria Rose.' It does appear as a children's book, but the stories, poems, and recipes are wonderful. I re-read it seasonally.

  7. I do love illustrations like this! Beautiful! I am currently knitting some mice from the patterns at MaryJane's Tearoom that remind me of these illustrations.

  10. These are precious paintings Jo! Thank you for sharing them as they brought smiles and delight. My favorite is the kitchen scene of the mother rabbit and daughter frosting chocolate cupcakes. I also love the kitchen decoration (just my style) and the beautiful stove!! That is something I have an eye out at the auctions for :) Ah, daydreaming is fun! Thank you for sharing your neat posts on the Art of Home-Making Mondays each week!

    1. Its funny, but no matter how old we are, we still find these sorts of illustrations cure and being a smile to our faces. The one you like seems to be quite popular - I like it too and I do like those sorts of old fashion kitchens.

      Have a wonderful week ahead.

  11. Just love Susan Wheeler's art. I have pinned a lot of her work and each and every one of them are extremely appealing to me. I wrote a book about 10 years ago and have promised myself that I would do my own illustrations, if only I could get half as close to the work she produces, I would be so happy and would get this project off the ground once and for all. Thanks for sharing. I am pinning these for inspiration :)
