Art Friday: The seaside
As summer draws to an end in Australia, I thought I would share some seaside photos I took back in January when I visited my family in South Australia. Whilst we have had some very nasty hot days, on this particular day it was quite cool and the wind made it a little brisk. Far too cool for swimming, which is why the beaches are empty of people — a rare sight in the middle of summer.

I really enjoyed these photos. And isn't it lovely to have such a huge almost entirely to yourself?

ReplyDeleteYou never know what will happen at the beach, especially on a windy day.
Dinner at the beach with just some a few close friends.... that is one long table. It would be fun to see it all filled and set with everyone.
You wouldn't want to "pass the salt" with this table!!! This was set up for the Tour Down Under cycle race, I hope they all had a great time. I did wonder if the chairs sunk into the sand which would be really annoying.
Delete5th picture is my favourite! But wow! You have some EXCELLENT photos there! I LOVE them! Might have to save a few for my desktop backgrounds =)

ReplyDeleteWe had a really hot week and I must say I'm looking forward to cooler weather!!! Autumn is my favourite season so I can't wait for it too arrive - warm days and cool evenings.

What beautiful photos! I love photos of beaches and coastal photos - I love the colours especially. I especially love your wave photo (5th photo)- rich blues and greens with the white contrast! Stunning!
