Art Friday: Happy Thanksgiving Day

We do not celebrate Thanksgiving Day in Australia, regardless, it is still important to be so THANKFUL for that the Lord has provided to us — not just the big things, but all the small things that we often overlook.

Here is a small collection of art that celebrate thanksgiving.

Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God  Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.  ~ (Psalms 147:7-8)

  3. The 1600's pic, with the little boy with eyes open during prayer, haha! Drake does the same thing. He doesn't get the concept, either, lol. "Can't you pray with eyes open??" lol These are all precious. Thanks so much for sharing!

  4. I love the retro picture where the son is arriving and holding her dear white-haired mum from her back. I still don´t have white hair, but I see my teenage boy coming home to me some day like that, as a good, honest, loving man with his family. And their smiles are really captivating. They´re the picture of happiness.
We don´t have Thanksgiving in Spain, but I think the closest thing is our Christmas Eve´dinner. It is the same feeling of family being together, of not letting anybody spend it alone, of the sweet aromas of home. I love your pictures!
